PEI is famous for its beautiful sand dune beaches and red cliffs, its rolling patch work of potato fields, and of course Anne of Green Gables, the fictional creation of Lucy Maud Montgomery. What is a trip to the Island without paying homage to this local literary character! Even Regis and Kelly, who visited PEI during our first week of vacation for the morning show, got their red braids and straw hats on. We had fun at the Gate Way Village, near the Confederation Bridge, where we got "Anned"!
