NOT your average Pumpkin Patch!

 THIS CAMP SUPPORTS THE
CANADIAN FOOD GRAINS BANK

This afternoon, we had a lot of fun being a part of a pumpkin planting with Sussex farmer Ken Reicker and the participants in Camp Tulakadik’s Mission Camp. With the help of Ken and his son, Danny, the Camp has cultivated about half an acre of land to plant and grow pumpkins which they will harvest and sell in support of the food relief and food security initiatives of the Canadian Food Grains Bank (CFGB).

CFGB is a Christian organization committed to ending hunger. Through the cooperation of 16 different Christian denominations (including Canadian Baptist Ministries), CFGB supports food relief, food security and nutrition in 34 different countries, including Kenya and Rwanda.
