A friendly Christmas Guest at our home in Nairobi
As the festive season returns to Nairobi, we are enjoying some bright sunny days as we prepare for Christmas.
After more than a week of heavy rain, it is nice to see the sun drying up puddles and warming up our damp house. The sun is also bringing out some little visitors like this horned chameleon that showed up yesterday afternoon.
December is a busy month of concerts, recitals, high school exams, and term papers for Emma and Ava. Tristan, who has been volunteering with ministries here in the city and completing courses online, is beginning to see good friends from his graduating class return. We've had the joy of hosting several sleepover games nights. A few of his friends will remain in Kenya next semester, some are volunteering with various ministries while others are completing internships.
Below are a few pictures of Ava and Emma. We certainly appreciate your prayers as the girls get through this last week of final exams and assignments. The cold and flu bugs are making the rounds at Rosslyn and, unfortunately, our house has not been spared.
We hope that you and your family are having a wonderful Advent.
