Tonight we had a sneak peak at Rosslyn Academy's High School Performance of Twelve Angry Men, which opens this Thursday night, November 10th, and will run through to Saturday. Although the play has a relatively small cast, Rosslyn decided to have understudies this year to give younger actors an opportunity to strengthen their skills. Emma was the understudy for two roles, juror number two and juror number six.
In tonight's dress rehearsal, Emma played juror number two. It was so fun to see all her hard work pay off in this intense drama. We are so thankful for the opportunities that our children have had to grow in their artistic gifts.

Over the last few years, Erica has been organizing the late meals for the High School dramas and musicals. It has been such a wonderful opportunity to see our kids and their incredible friends develop and mature. This is such a fun group to be with!
Nora and Tristan ready for the dress rehearsal
We don't want to give away any of the great scenes in our blog before the play official opens, but we can say that this is an outstanding drama. We are so proud of Tristan, Emma, and all of their friends who have dedicated so much time and energy to this production.
Isaiah and Raelyn coming out to support Emma tonight
We are also very thankful to Steven Slaughter for opening up the dress rehearsal to the family and friends of the understudies. We are so grateful for the many friends who came and cheered the kids on. It was so wonderful to share this night with you all.
