Our final CBM Update Video

CBM Africa Update Video May 2019.

We are happy to share this our last update video from Kenya. We want to thank you all for your faithful prayers and support for our family and the ministry of Canadian Baptists.

In this five-minute update, we share two things that encourage us about the future of CBM's work in Africa. And of course, like any classic missionary presentation, we include a stunning sunset!

Thank you all so much for partnering with us. If you would like to learn more about the work of Canadian Baptist Ministries in Africa and around the world, please visit our website at www.cbmin.org

  3. Erica, Aaron and family, I can only imagine the contrasting emotions you must be experiencing as you prepare to leave Africa. Leaving behind so many beautiful souls whose lives have been enhanced by your work and your love; coming back 'home' to the Maritimes where your family and friends will be overjoyed to have you within arms reach. I know your lives have been blessed by your experiences in beautiful Kenya, and I pray your transition back into Canadian life will go well. With love, hugs and gratitude!

  4. Dear Kennys; We are awestruck by your discipline in being such bold ambassadors for Christ and Canadians. Thank you for adorning the partnership so long in the making with your "boots on the ground" commitment, acknowledging & empowering the diversity of many other servants and mentoring many new recruits. Your family have so beautifully exemplified the great commission in word and deed amongst the flourishing Church in East Africa. Noteworthy is to have been embraced with ordination into the denomination; a capstone of remarkable dedication to the life and work of the Church there. Praiseworthy is balancing devout rearing of your own local indigenous tribe in their most formative years. You've somehow managed to pull this off with embedded professional journalists too! So pleased to know that you have found a home again in the Maritimes. We continue to intercede as you receive nuturing fellowship there; that the outstretched arm and mighty hand of the Lord will sustain your vocation, family and community in this season of life.
Our first big family road-trip was in 2003 to the east coast. St John's River Valley N.B., Mahone Bay, Baddeck N.S. Watching July 1 fireworks in Charlottetown from a ferry in the middle of Northumberland Straight & Beaches of P.E.I. are the most treasured memories along the journey.
