A Day at the Theatre

Children (and a very excited mom) meeting Annie after Wednesday's performance. Earlier this week, Erica brought a group of thirty-five children and chaperones from the CBM self-help group program in Eastleigh, to attend a special performance of Annie the Musical for schools and children ministries in Nairobi.

We were so excited to share Rosslyn Academy's latest High School production with children in the SHG program. Over the past five months, director Audrey Statler and the army of cast, crew, orchestra and parent/teacher volunteers have been working together to stage another incredible show.

The story of Annie and her contagious optimism connected with the student audience, many of whom had never heard of Annie before. It was such a fun afternoon being in the stands as the kids cheered, laughed, and hummed along with the show.

After the show, everyone wanted their pictures with the cast

We want to thank everyone who made it possible for our group to come and experience the theatre, especially the Rosslyn students who have poured their hearts into this performance. Bravo!
