This past Thursday, we had the joy of meeting Mark, Mary, Micah and Abby Doerksen who are joining us for the next three weeks in Eastleigh and with the Guardians of Hope in Kenya. We first met Mark during a pastor's short term mission trip two years ago, when he came with Laurie Barber, Cal Melina, Rob Patterson, and several other Canadian pastors. We are very excited to be hosting a family with children near the ages of our own kids.
Please keep the Doerksen's in your prayers as they take new steps of faith each day in the adventure of crossing cultures and entering into a new way of living out their faith.
