S T E P P I N G U P !
Thomas Coldwell and Jen Fry
Last evening, we welcomed Thomas and Jen, who arrived safely from Canada. They are both students from Crandall University in Moncton, New Brunswick, who will be volunteering with us in Eastleigh for the month of May as part of a course.
This is Thomas' second mission trip to Kenya, he joined us in the summer of 2009 with the team from Middleton Baptist Church, Nova Scotia. During that trip, he helped us not only with renovating classrooms, but in a big way with ministering to children in the nursery program and the newly formed "Happy Club" for refugee students at the primary school.
Today we met together with Laura Muema as we began orientation for their time in Eastleigh and visiting throughout Kenya. We are excited to see both Jen and Thomas step into a leadership role within the various aspects of the project. They are bringing high energy and enthusiasm!
Please remember them both in prayer throughout this month as they cross cultures and seek to build relationships among the people of Eastleigh.
