Annapolis Royal

Ava and her favourite "pirate"

On Saturday, we enjoyed a great day with the members of the Middleton Baptist STM team who had come to visit us in Kenya last summer. We travelled together to Annapolis Royal and took part in the celebration of 300 years since the town had it's name changed from Port Royal after the conquest of the Acadien by the British in 1710. A highlight of the day was the town crier who took Ava under his wing: Ava instantly called him her favourite pirate and is still asking us when we can go back and ride in his ship.
