Margaretsville

The Provincial flag of Nova Scotia

The Margaretsville Lighthouse

We enjoyed four wonderful days last week with the congregation of the Middleton Baptist Church, Nova Scotia. Doug and Pat Armstrong generously provided us with their cottage situated next to the historic Margaretsville lighthouse on the shore of the Bay of Fundy. On Friday, we had a marvellous day hiking along the coast, building campfires and enjoying the salt air. The free day also gave Erica some much needed time to finish adding clasps to the last of the Noor Creations' necklaces, as the project had run out of clasps in Kenya before we had left.

The Isle of Haute
The haunting cliffs of the Isle of Haute towered in the distant fog bank throughout our stay in Margaretsville. It was great to have these few days to explore part of Nova Scotia that we had never spent any time in before.

over the cliffs into the Bay of Fundy

On Friday, we enjoyed a quiet evening at the cottage while Tristan and Emma paddled canoes and had lots of fun at a weekend youth camp.

We were spoiled with some wonderful treats by the
women of the Middleton Baptist Church

First bites!!!!!
